Wynnum RSL Women’s Auxiliary Supports Rosies

Supporting Local Community Volunteers

This morning, the Wynnum RSL Women’s Auxiliary was proud to once again support Rosies with a donation of $200 worth of vouchers to help continue the incredible work their volunteers do in our community. It’s a privilege to contribute to an organisation that makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of people doing it tough.

Rosies provides so much more than a meal or a helping hand. Their volunteers offer friendship, compassion, dignity, and hope to those who need it most. In a world where loneliness and hardship can feel overwhelming, Rosies volunteers give their time so selflessly, often being a comforting presence for people who simply need someone to care.

The Power of Community Support

The work that Rosies does in our community cannot be overstated. Their volunteers are out there night after night, providing not just practical support but genuine human connection. For many people experiencing homelessness or hardship, that friendly face and compassionate conversation can make all the difference.
