Merdeka Day Commemoration Service
The National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association of Australia (Queensland & Brisbane Branch) warmly invites members, veterans, families, friends, and the wider community to attend their Merdeka Day Commemoration Service at Wynnum RSL.
The service will be held on Monday, 31 August 2026 at 10.30am at the Remembrance Memorial, Wynnum RSL, 174 Tingal Road, Wynnum.
This meaningful service honours those who served during the Malayan Emergency and the Indonesian Confrontation, while commemorating Merdeka Day. Your attendance would be greatly appreciated as we come together to remember the service and sacrifice of our veterans and reflect on this significant occasion.
