A Wonderful Morning for R U OK? Day

What a morning it was last Saturday at Wynnum RSL. Our R U OK? Day Fundraiser brought the community together in the most heartwarming way, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making it such a success.

To everyone who came along, enjoyed a sausage sandwich or bacon and egg roll, had a chat and showed their support – thank you. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces gathering together for such an important cause. Sometimes a conversation can make all the difference, and that’s exactly what R U OK? Day is all about.

A very special thank you goes to our wonderful Wynnum RSL staff who generously donated their time on the morning. Your willingness to lend a hand was truly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.

To Australian Country Choice – a huge thank you for your incredibly generous donation of all the sausages for our fundraiser. Your kindness and community spirit helped make the morning possible.

And to the amazing Wynnum RSL Women’s Auxiliary – thank you for your helping hands, your generous hearts and the wonderful support you continue to give our club and our community. Mornings like this simply wouldn’t happen without people like you.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who helped raise awareness and start conversations around that simple but incredibly important question: R U OK? From all of us at Wynnum RSL, thank you for helping us show that our community truly cares.
