Dean Started Something Special at Wynnum RSL

It’s official – thanks to one of our own, Wynnum RSL now has an EKKA Day tradition worth celebrating. Dean kicked things off with his classic EKKA treats, and it didn’t take long for members, staff and guests to jump on board in a big way.

Strawberry ice cream topped with fresh strawberries and cream? Yes, please. Waffles loaded with strawberries and cream? Absolutely. Dagwood Dogs? You bet. The EKKA spirit was well and truly alive at the club, and the smiles on everyone’s faces said it all.

The EKKA Day Fun Continues to Grow

What started as one member’s love of EKKA Day favourites has turned into a genuine club celebration. Wynnum RSL has become the place to be when the EKKA rolls around, bringing together the community over some seriously good food and plenty of good cheer.

A huge thank you to everyone who came in and celebrated EKKA Day with us this year. Whether you went for the Dagwood Dog, the waffles, the ice cream – or all three – it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.
