Mother Duck Returns Home Safely
The mystery has been solved! Our beloved plastic mother duck has been returned safely and unharmed after her mysterious disappearance from Wynnum RSL. The club is pleased to announce that the ducknapping case that captured the hearts of our community has come to a happy conclusion.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who assisted in the search operation, shared sightings, and kept hope alive during this difficult time. The support from our members and the local community was overwhelming, and it meant the world to all of us here at the club.
An Emotional Reunion
The reunion was emotional, with Dean and the family now back together at last. The little ducklings are absolutely thrilled to have their mum home where she belongs, and normal life can resume for our plastic duck family.
At this stage, no charges will be laid in connection with the disappearance. The family and Dean have requested privacy at this time as they recover from this traumatic ordeal, and we ask that everyone respect their wishes during this period of adjustment.
It’s wonderful to see our duck family whole again, and we’re grateful for the happy ending to what could have been a very different story. The support and good humour shown by our community throughout this incident has been truly heartwarming.
