Anzac Day Commemoration at Wynnum RSL

April 18, 2026

A Day of Remembrance

Join us at Wynnum RSL on Saturday 25th April for a full and meaningful day of Anzac Day commemoration. We’ve planned a complete schedule of events that brings our community together to honour the brave men and women who served our nation.

The day begins with our Dawn Service at 5:00am, a solemn and moving tribute as the sun rises. At 9:15am, we’ll gather for the march from the corner of Bay Terrace and Edith Street, followed by our Wreath Laying Ceremony and Service at 9:45am. These traditional commemorations provide an opportunity to pay our respects and reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom.

Serviceman’s Luncheon and Afternoon Activities

Following the morning ceremonies, we’re hosting a Serviceman’s Luncheon at 10:15am. Pre-purchased tickets are required and will be available from 31st March at Reception. This is a wonderful opportunity for veterans and their families to come together in fellowship.

The club opens its doors at 1:00pm, with the traditional game of Two Up kicking off at 1:30pm. It’s a cherished Anzac Day tradition that brings excitement and camaraderie to the afternoon. From 3:30pm, we’ll have live music to round out the day, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

We warmly invite our entire community to join us for any or all of these events. It’s a day to come together, remember, and honour those who served. Lest We Forget.
