New Care Services Visits Wynnum RSL

New Care Services is coming to Wynnum RSL on Thursday 1st October at 11am to present an information session about the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Whether you’re curious about the program or keen to get involved, everyone is welcome to come along.

The ACVVS is a free program that matches eligible aged care recipients who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated with volunteer visitors. The aim is simple – to offer companionship and friendship to those who need it most.

What to Expect on the Day

The session is a great opportunity to learn more about how the scheme works, meet the New Care Services team, and ask any questions you might have. It’s an informal, welcoming event open to the whole community.
