Farewell Tom, Welcome Mary-Ann

A New Chapter for Our Bistro

After more than 20 years of dedicated service, our Head Chef Tom is retiring from Wynnum RSL. For many of our members, guests, and staff, Tom has been much more than a chef – he has been a familiar face, a mentor, a leader, and a constant presence through the many changes and milestones our club has experienced over the years.

From busy service nights and special celebrations to the everyday moments shared with colleagues and members, Tom has been at the heart of our Bistro. His commitment to quality and his warm presence in the kitchen have made a lasting impact on everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him or enjoying his food.

Tom, thank you for everything. Most of all, thank you for being such a valued part of our Wynnum RSL family. You will be missed, but we couldn’t be happier for you as you begin this well-earned new chapter. We wish you every happiness, good health, and many wonderful adventures in retirement.

Welcoming Mary-Ann

As we farewell Tom, we are excited to welcome Mary-Ann as our new Head Chef. Mary-Ann has been part of the Wynnum RSL family since 2024 and has already made a wonderful impression on both our team and members with her passion, creativity, and dedication to quality dining experiences.

Having worked alongside Tom, Mary-Ann understands the values and traditions that make our Bistro so special and is honoured to be stepping into this role. She is looking forward to introducing new and exciting flavours, fresh menu ideas, and memorable dining experiences for our members and guests. Her enthusiasm for great food and commitment to excellence make her a fantastic addition to this next chapter of our Bistro’s journey.
