Supporting Domestic Violence Victims

Wynnum RSL is proud to announce that we are now a DV Safe Phone drop-off point. This important initiative allows our community to make a real difference in the lives of domestic violence victims by donating unused mobile phones and chargers.

Do you have a mobile phone or charger that you no longer need? Feel free to drop it in at the RSL. Your phone will be cleared of all data and will then go to help domestic violence victims stay safe. These devices provide a vital lifeline for those escaping dangerous situations, allowing them to stay connected and access emergency services when they need it most.

The process is simple and secure. All donated phones are professionally wiped of data before being distributed, ensuring your privacy is protected while your contribution makes a meaningful impact. Even older phones that still hold a charge can be invaluable to someone rebuilding their life.

This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the local community beyond our club walls. By becoming a drop-off point, Wynnum RSL is helping to ensure that vulnerable members of our community have access to the communication tools they need to stay safe and connected.
