Wynnum RSL’s Spooky Duo Are Ready for Halloween

Something wicked this way comes – and it’s got two left feet. Dean and Mother Duck are officially in rehearsals for their Halloween dance routine, and let’s just say the results are enough to wake the dead.

Dean is convinced he’s the lead dancer. Mother Duck is equally convinced he’s her backup. Neither of them are taking direction, and the choreography has been described as “haunting” – mainly by those unfortunate enough to witness it firsthand. There’s plenty of winging it, some frightening footwork, and a terrifying amount of confidence from both parties.

Mother Duck has her spooky shuffle perfected. Dean’s zombie moves, on the other hand, may just be stiffness from all that practice. Either way, this dynamic duo is ready to creep into the night.

Wynnum Ampol Halloween Festival – Saturday 31 October

Wynnum RSL’s partners in crime will be making their grand appearance at the Wynnum Ampol Halloween Festival on Saturday, 31 October at George Clayton Park. It’s shaping up to be a proper thriller of a night, with rides, fireworks, market stalls, face painting, live entertainment, roving entertainment and much more on offer.

If you spot this spooky duo out and about, be sure to give them a wave – just don’t encourage an encore. You’ve been warned.
