Sometimes the people who seem to be doing just fine on the outside are the very ones struggling on the inside. A smile doesn’t always tell the whole story. That’s why asking “R U OK?” and genuinely taking the time to listen can mean more than we realise.

This R U OK? Day, Wynnum RSL is coming together as a community to support suicide prevention and remind everyone that no one has to face difficult times alone.

Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser – Saturday 12 September from 8am

Join us on Saturday 12 September from 8am in the Wynnum RSL carpark for our R U OK? Day Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser. Come along, grab a sausage sandwich, and bring your family and friends. Most importantly, help us start conversations that could make a real difference.

Every dollar raised will go towards supporting suicide prevention and the vital work of encouraging people to reach out, listen without judgement, and be there for one another.

It’s a simple morning out with your community, but the impact goes far beyond the carpark. Because sometimes, a genuine “Are you really OK?” is the beginning of a conversation that changes everything.

We’d love to see the Wynnum community come out in force and get behind this incredibly important cause. We hope to see you there on the 12th.
